Ningbo, China – March 2025 – Mobile Climate Control (MCC) Ningbo has taken a significant step towards sustainable energy use with the completion of a solar panel installation on its facility’s rooftop. The installation, managed by our landlord, Nordic Industrial Park, was finalized at the end of 2024, and as of January 2025, MCC Ningbo has officially begun utilizing solar power.
With a total capacity of approximately 22,600 kWh per month, the new photovoltaic system has already made a substantial impact on our energy consumption. In February 2025, MCC Ningbo’s total electricity usage reached 8,957 kWh, of which 5,842 kWh—an impressive 65.2%—was supplied by the solar installation. This transition to renewable energy not only enhances operational efficiency but also significantly reduces our carbon footprint.
This initiative aligns with MCC’s broader commitment to achieving Scope 2 carbon neutrality by 2030. By integrating solar energy into our operations, we are making tangible progress towards reducing emissions, protecting the environment, and ensuring a stable and sustainable energy supply.
“At MCC Ningbo, we are dedicated to implementing responsible manufacturing practices that contribute to a greener future,” said a spokesperson for MCC Ningbo. “The integration of solar power is a crucial step in our long-term sustainability strategy.”
As MCC Ningbo continues to innovate and adopt eco-friendly solutions, we remain committed to leading by example in the pursuit of a cleaner and more sustainable future. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our environment and industry.
